Michael Vass press release

(PRWEB) August 1, 2007 -- Mr. Michael Vass, owner and author of Black Entertainment USA (blackentertainmentblog.com), announced that several milestones have been reached today. Since the official launch of the website in January 2006, there have been more than 100 postings published. Topics of the various posts range from discussions on the impact of Black African American cultural trends in television, theatrical movies, music videos, video games and other media to athletes, musicians, actors and other entertainers/celebrities in the news to international competitions.

The website has also expanded its unique format, a blend of a weblog (known as blogs) and traditional website. The site currently boasts a collection of original poetry, audio files of selected poems, an expanded reference section, archives of older posts, and a growing catalogue of unique inscribed products. All poetry and spoken word audio are the creation of Mr. Vass. While the various items available through the site are the original inspiration of Mr. Vass, designs rendered with separate artistic views are also available. Those goods feature the name of the artist prominently in its description. Plans to expand the number of goods and artists continue to move forward at this time.

Mr. Vass also states, The acceptance and interest in Black Entertainment USA have been phenomenal. Feedback and comments on various post topics have been informative, lively, and gratifying. The diversity of readers and comments reflects the diversity found in the Black African-American community today. The fact that Hispanics, Asians and multiple other races and ethnic groups from around the world have been involved with this site as well, confirms my belief that the concerns of one culture are very similar to every culture.

In relation to the growing consumer line Mr. Vass reveals, One goal I have is to showcase the designs and reinterpretations of my products from the minds of up-and-coming artists and fashion designers. I want to display the diversity of this site to the world through their creations. Hopefully I will be able to create a launchpad for future success. I feel its not enough to discuss what is happening but to try to promote positive individuals making things happen. If a T-shirt or handbag, or gift card is the vehicle that can get that ball rolling, the effort is worth it.
